Plant in full sun or partial shade, with good drainage.  Water to establish but, once established, is quite drought tolerant.  If starting from seed, sow in the fall.  First year plants are very small (look like tiny scallions), but develop quickly by the second year.

Plants can be planted at any time and clumps can be divided and transplanted easily
